November’s film is Where The Crawdads Sing (PG15) starring Daisy Edgar-Jones.
Based on the best-selling novel the film tells the story of Kya, an abandoned girl who raised herself to adulthood in the dangerous marshlands of North Carolina. Cast as the main suspect when a young man is found dead, as the case unfolds it becomes increasingly unclear as to what actually happened.
Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm screening. Tickets £5 (cash or card).
The Village Club bar will be open before the film and during the intermission with other refreshments on offer in the hall. If you haven’t been to Coates Cinema before then why not come along in November.
