Annual Reports & Finance
Each year Coates Parish Council completes the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) and conducts an internal audit of its accounts. The internal auditor acts independently and on the basis of an assessment of risk.
Any interested parties have the right to view the Parish Council accounts during a 30 day period each year which, by law, ordinarily must include the first 10 days of July. The ‘Period for the Exercise of Public Rights’ must be advertised on the Coates Parish Council noticeboard and website at least one day in advance.
